My Ride: '06 530xi Jet Black
I have the Motorola Droid and whenever I accept a call the bluetooth comes on and is just static. My old phone (Blackberry Storm) worked fine. I have checked BMW's official "bluetooth compatibility" site and neither of the phones were on there. So I am wondering does this phone work with my car? 2006 530xi

My address book transfers successfully and I hate the latest droid update and I have the 2.1 firmware. I have to take in my car for faulty windshield wipers in the next 2 weeks should I have the dealership check the bluetooth too?

Sounds reasonable - has this problem been seen with another phone? Pair a plain cell phone [IF you can find one!!] and see if it works OK. That's the easiest way to isolate the problem

I have an 05 545i and my Motorola Droid paired up first time every time! I would delete all the pairings on the car and phone and start from scratch, I'll bet that would solve your issues! Good Luck!

My Ride: 650 Grand Coupe
Model Year: 2016
I just ordered the HTC Droid Incredible. I'm hoping it will pair up without any hiccups. It's good to see the Moto Droids seem to work well for the most part.
I did read somewhere, that those who had troubles needed to do as flyingpuck suggested and delete other pairings.
