I've got a question. When I receive a call over bluetooth, how can I mute a call? I often have people in the car when I receive a call and I don't want to answer it, just put it on mute. It just keeps ringing, and if I do reject it hangs up the phone and they try to call back again. Any ideas?

Easy, disable bluetooth when you have friends in the car.

have you tried to push the volume knob when ringing?
I never tried this yet but it's logical to me at least.
I guess I'll go try this next time when I get a phone call while driving.

Too much trouble??? Push the I drive nob in when in the main screen. Go to bluetooth and uncheck it bro. It's really easy. Takes like 10 seconds...

+ 1. Whenever your phone rings try to push down on the volume control located on your steering wheel. i think it should work. hope that helps

Actually I've only had a problem when the girlfriend called and the wife was in the car.

I get an iDrive prompt to accept or ignore call.

The Ignore call on the iDrive actually works as a Reject. So the other party gets an engaged tone. I think what you are after is what is called Ignore on mobile phones which keeps giving a ringing tone to the caller but your phone doesn't ring, makes the caller think you are not near your phone. I don't think this is there.

I didn't even like the fact that there is no mute for the mic while on a call too. Sometimes you just need to say "A little harder honey" while the wife is on the call.
