I thought the Razor phones paired up without an issue. Cant get the phone to see the car at all. I just had the latest software on the phone installed because I wasnt able to get the previous version software to work either. What to do?

Have you made the car discoverable via the "i" menu?
Just checking the basics - sorry if you've already done this but you don't make mention of any steps you have taken.
P.S. congrats on the new car, it sounds like a beautiful combo!

Yes it should. I just switched to the Razor as my Samsung phone was having issues with my new car. The Razor V3M (I'm w/ Sprint) works as advertised, paired up the first time and now repairs everytime I get start the car. As UUronL points out, if you have followed the directions in the manual for pairing, the phone's Bluetooth hardware (or the car's hardware for that matter!) could be having an issue.

Does the RAZR connect to the PC over the USB port? If so, you can likely download the newest MOT code for your phone on the Motorola website. That would rule out a non-hardware issue on the phone.

My Ride: 2008 528i: Silver/Black/Light Wood, ZPP, ZCW, STEP, Comfort Seat, Heated Rear Seat, PDC, Xenon, Nav, iPod. 35% ceramic tint, VentureShield clear bra.
I also have a problem with the pairing with a Razr V3 phone from T mobile. The phone sees the car but just cannot connect. The other phone sony ericsson T610 (T mobile also) pairs easily. The 2 cell phones also recognize each other.
Should I call T mobile to resolve this?
thanks.
