I find that my Qtek 9100 (HTC Wizard) works fine with the E60 (now on CIP23.01) except for the signal strength. I find it frustrating that it doesn't work as i spend a lot of time on the phone going through mobile dead spots
I tried this program too but found that it didnt make a difference but it has killed the phone occasionally (the phone does not boot up and needs to be hard reset).
I am going to wait for the next official update as it 'may' contain the code missing...

A SmartPhone is a phone WITHOUT a touch screen and the PocketPC version WITH the touch screen.
Simple case of DFU and RTFM and i lost a lot of unsaved data
Oh, and neither version manages to show the signal strength

The jetware mobile site does show the signal strength on my TyTn here in the US.
Just FYI...
Just FYI...
I've had nothing but trouble with it on mine! The BT kit works better without it for me - still no signal strength, oh how i wish for it to work :'(
Glad yours works though...

Guys
After having tried several Sony Ericsson phones (including the P990i) and the latest Samsung D900 I am becoming frustrated with this whole Bluetooth compatability nonsense.
So, in an attempt to buy the right phone next time, can you list all phones that ARE compatible with the E60?

I have a three year old Motorola 710 and have had no problems pairing up either in the cradle or on my belt. You should be able to find if yours works and info on pairing on the web page.

Now, if you have a Verizon phone, the problem worsens because they alter the Bluetooth profiles and rewrite their own user interface. They shouldn't be allowed to do that and still be allowed to use the Bluetooth logo, but they do it anyway. So they need to publish a Bluetooth? Car Kit/Accessory Support Matrix for every BT phone they sell http://support.vzw.com/how_to_use/bl...h_car_kit.html There are 26 phones on that list today and a PDF file with the vehicle models for each.
The basic problem with Bluetooth is that some carriers, particularly the CDMA carriers like Verizon, try to limit the file transfer ability and force the files over the carrier network for a fee. Basically, Bluetooth is a short range personal wireless network that the carriers should not be messing with. Read more here: http://www.canyouhearusnow.net/bluetooth/
