Hi,

I took my car in and got the bluetooth retrofit for my '04 530i. Cost $110.

Unfortunately, the car will connect with the phone, but cannot dial, see phonebook, etc. all I got was a "Please wait" for an about 1-2 minutes, then "please activate phone". Dealer was not helpful other than "it is not a BMW approved phone". I will order the approved SE t608 and report later. Anyone with experience using this phone?

I guess the link to http://www.x5world.net/bluetooth_compatible_phones.htm is not completely accurate (or my dealer is wrong)

I just tried the T608 phone for sprint. Completely works, I guess there may be a problem with the LG phone. It is too bad..... nice phone
