Any positive or negative feedback regarding the HP 6515? Works well with the car?

I have no experience with the 6515.....

But the 6315 does not work correctly. (ie no phonebook transfer, or control of phone from iDrive)

You have to dial/answer from the iPaq itself... only the audio plays through the speakers.

Oh wow so then the 6515 might not even transfer the phonebook? No functionability like the razor at all?

Select Features:
Microsoft? Windows Mobile(tm) 2003 software - Phone Edition
Intel? PXA272 Processor 312 MHZ
Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth? 1.2, IrDA SIR 1.2

Does e60 have 1.2 and if it does would that mean it would work with our cars?

No. E60 does not have Bluetooth 1.2

There is no way to read a spec sheet on a PDA to tell if it will work with BMW bluetooth. You just have to pair them and test it.

My guess is that the 6515 will not work.

Chances are the 6515 will not work.

I can't say I know for certain.... but I would place bets it won't.

Guess I have to cancel the order then. I had the razor im just sick of seeing everyone with the same phone. I hear that blackberry 8500 works well with e60? Anything else you recommend besides razor that works well with E60?

You might consider the T-Mobile MDA or SDA phones. These are not exclusive to T-Mobile, if that is not your carrier of choice. They sell them under different names to different carriers.

According to one member on this board, he has made an MDA work successfully with BMW Bluetooth.

I tested one out myself, and had problems... but he has shown images of the device working properly.... so I'm going to look back into it in a few days.

The MDA would give you the PDA features you want, with full Bluetooth compatibility.... and would even be smaller than that iPaq.
