Anyone having this problem?
When I have multiple people with same Phone number, People at work with different ext. but same main number.
The phone only downloads to the idrive the first name and number but no one else?
Any thoughts?

I think you have upgrade your iphone software. 2.2 is the latest. That's what i heard to fix that problem.

 

I have the latest upgrade and this has been happening for a long time.

 

Hmmm. not sure. I never had that happen. Have you tried to delete the profile in the car and the phone and re-pair?

 

Yes, this was happening before I upgraded to 3G. I had the regular I phone and Had the same problem.
Example, had my son and Daughter listed with same home number but different cell numbers and it left off both their home numbers.

 

You probably have this set. On your phone is it specified that the number for the cell numbers say mobile and the home number set as home? When this is set on the phone I have no problems with the iDrive.

 

Can you explain to me what setting you are talking about?
I would love to fix this...

I just spoke to Apple and they said this is the way it is setup. Any work around?

 

I believe he was talking about how some numbers are labeled "Work", "Mobile", " Home". I hope this might help. Hmm, take some pics of the duplicate entries and maybe i can try to test somethings.

 

The entries are anything, work, mobile, home that does not matter. If the phone number is exactly the same it will not sync to my BMW.
Example, I have 5 people that work for me they all have the exact same Phone number but all have different ext. Only one of the will show up on the BMW the rest will be lfet off.
