Anybody know How do i change bluetooth device name on iphone?

Originally when I paired my phone with idrive it came up as "previous owners name" which was fine as i still had to jailbreak/upgrade phone so knew this would be deleted.

The Idrivet now shows the iPhone with the name "192.168.6.4" which is the IP the iPhone has in my network or today it uses local host name.

1.1.2 US iPhone here, jailbroken/unlocked.

iTunes sees it as my iPhone!

Can someone tell me how I go about editing the phone's BT ID?

I've never really messed with an iPhone but it sounds to me like it's picking up the hostname from the network configuration and not a BT name. Either way, does this help?

i.e changing name a few times in itunes by clicking on phone name and pressing F2
