I am looking to add Iphone charging capability to my car and I am unsure which option is best.

Do i go fully integrated with the spec doc or is this dangerous having the capability to watch films on the go?

I like the integrated dock. The phone stays cool under the armrest and it's stealthy.

I have a Brodit Proclip in my E60 M-Sport (mounted over passenger side central airvent).
On that I have one of their cradles for my Blackberry.
You can get various types for most phones.

• Cradle only
• Cradle with power cable to cig lighter socket
• Cradle with fused power cable that can be hard-wired in behind the dash

Not only that, but they are already working on iPhone cradles to suit the new iPhone 4 bumper etc.

These are great value, good quality products, and remember, that at least you can see emails/texts popping in if it's on the dashboard in front of you at eye level, something that you can't if you stow it away in the centre armrest.
