My iphone (ver 1.1.2) works great with my '05 525i. The only thing I can not get working is the "Top 8" calls in idrive. It never shows any entries even though I'm on the phone for at least 30-45 mins/day through the idrive display.

I've had no problems other than sometimes interference when I have WiFi enabled on the iPhone. 2007 530i and used the iPhone with firmware versions 1.0.1-1.1.2. Yes, even 1.1.1 worked fine.
I have the Top 8 working but for some reason it only lists the 'Top 8' calls I've made from the car. I'm not even sure it saves the information recursively but I do have entries in there from time to time.

It has to do with the US vs Europe I-Drive software.
Both my wifes 116i with I-Drive and my 325i Touring will pair with the iphone. As soon as I make a call or a call comes in the bleutooth connection fails.
I already searched different european forums and asked my dealer. The only thing I found out through my dealer is that there will be an update in january wich should make the iphone work on european cars.

hmm.. I just picked up a '04 530i last week and I can't get my iPhone to work. any ideas? I am assuming my 530i has bluetooth cause there u=is a little phone on the steering wheel and I messed around enough to find something that looks like it should be pairing
