Hey guys. I recently took delivery of my 2008 535xi yesterday. :) It comes with the premium package and ipod integration. It charges just fine with the USB but it says that the device is incompatible. Any ideas?

I assume you have tried to use your BMW 6fl cord but if like mine, it will not charge the Iphone or itouch, but works fine on the smaller ipods. I hear when apple changed the OS it effected how it charges. I use another BMW cord but it was a bit pricey and you can find it online cheaper than at the Dealer There is also something else that might work and if it does, I think it's better because of it's size.

I beleive Best Buy has them. I took a used one from eBay and it wouldn't work for me. I have no idea if it was a functional piece or not though... Maybe try Best Buy first. Also if you search a bit on this forum you should find a look more information that might help you.

To solve the same issue I got a new OEM cable. Manufacturer Part Number: 61 12 0 440 812
The OEM cable 61-12-0-440-796 did not charge for me.

I purchased one off eBay, & charges fine.

get an android.

That's helpful...not. still needs a new cable.
