Hi,

I just bought a new 2010 528i. The bluetooth connection with my Iphone 3g works great. It quickly downloaded my address book and is easy to navigate the numbers to dial. I do have the navigation installed. Anyway, when someone calls, I have to look at the iphone to see who is calling. The car display only shows incoming call, no caller ID. This feature works perfectly in my 2007 E350 displaying who is calling unless they are not in my address book. Is this normal for the BMW?

It's normal to me. I would see the names, when I disconnect my bluetooth and reconnect it, the incoming call shows *******. So I just reconnect my bluetooth and wahla it shows the callers name.

So try restarting your iphone or try reconnection your bluetooth. your probably seeing incoming call *******

 

OK, I will try reconnecting the Iphone. I am glad to see it does work properly. I just need to fiddle with mine I guess.
