Well had my car in for some fixes and one issue was my IDrive was very sluggish. After speaking w/ my tech(he is very good and trustworthy) he asked me if I use the Bluetooth in my car and what phone. I showed him my treo 650 and he said that the treo is more than likely causing the sluggish IDrive. He said that the newer PROGMANS do not support bluetooth like the older versions did and the IDrive gets confused when paired w/ non approved phones. He said that most of the people who complain about this issue all have non-approved bluetooth phones. He said you can sync many different phones but the never see the IDrive issue w/ approved phones. I want to believe him but I will need to test this out in more detail to see it it is true. He gave me a print out of all supported phones and the software versions the phone has to have to work seamlessly and not cause the sluggish IDrive symptoms.
