I've got the BMW phone, and the signal reception has been great but my wife has been complaining that she can't hear me. (OK, time for the wife jokes now...). So I had her drive my car, call me on my study phone and I could hear her perfectly. Went to the kitchen phone - awful echo.
My study phone is digital, kitchen is analog. The reception is clear as a bell as long as the other party is on a digital phone. At least in our house, the analog phones are the problem.
Hope this helps some people.

Does the kitchen phone sound fine when talking to others?
