Ericsson Woes

Hello all,
I'm a new member- posted a few moments ago in the E61 forum. I've been playing around with iDrive today and looking up the snap-in adapters. Despite there being a snap-in adapter for my T68 and R520 Ericsson phones, the Bluetooth in my car doesn't seem to work with them. It will pair with the passwords and appear in the menu as an available phone but the signal strength indicator never shows up in iDrive, the contacts don't show, and the car won't do anything with either phone.
Is there a trick to get them to work? My Verizon Motorola worked after some effort, but that same effort isn't making the Ericsson work. Any ideas?
