E60 Bmw 525i 2005
Hi i would like some help!
Recently i bought my sister's E60, it's an 525i 2005 model.
1. There is an PTT(push to talk) button on the steeringwheel how does it work? when i press it nothing happens, do i have to buy a disc or code it?
2.Bluetooth, how does it work and how do i know i got bluetooth. If not, how do i get bluetooth?
3. Navigation, how do i know i got it and what to do if not?

Congratulations with the BMW. Hope you enjoy it.
1). The PTT button is always there, however the functionality depends on whether you have the option on your car.
2). Go to the Communication menu in the iDrive and check if you can pair a phone via bluetooth. If there is no bluetooth option, then you don't have bluetooth.
3). If you have two CD/DVD slots in your centre console, then the DVD slot is for the navigation system; then you have navigation. Also, via iDrive go to the Navigation menu and if you can see a map, then you have navigation.
At best, you can go to your local BMW dealer and ask for the option list based on your VIN number, or otherwise use one that is available on internet where you fill-in your VIN and get the option list.
