? Sure, some folks, like jksanford, will be on the wrong side of a product changeover.? In his case he got an incompatible TCU and I got a compatible one, even though our vehicles rolled off the assembly line maybe on the same day, and certainly during the same week.? There is a small price to pay for being an early adopter; and this is one of them.

I was bummed about the BlueTooth, but I would have had to spend around $500 for a Bluetooth phone (I have a Treo 600) $100 for the activation labor.
In the end, I spent about $200 activating the cradle for the CPT9000, $350 from Mr. Belk for the cradle and phone, and $30 a month for another phone line. I just forward my Treo to my Car when I'm heading to the car. Works great.

My dealer said that they took 13 hours to fit my car with BT, and part of the problem was that my TCU was either deffective from the start or died in the process. They said they would not want to do this again for anyone else, but maybe they would install others now that they knew more about how to do it. They also said that even though I gave them pharding's dealer's contact name and number, that the tech at my dealer was not too interested in taking direction from another dealer (wouldn't that make it a bit easier maybe????).
They said that they had to load v13.3, 4 times and disconnect the car battery for over 6 hours and totally re-build the car's software in memory in order to build it all back up, and that the TCU was the big mystery. It also sounds a bit like jksanford's problem with his TCU and according to my dealer, a new TCU costs us$1,900 if bought new! Ouch!
