Hey,

I have a 07/04 production e60 and everytime I bring it to my dealership they always shoot me down to try the bluetooth retrofit. even though my tcu has the bt emblem and i show them the documentation that says 03/04-08/04. ( this is habberstad bmw in huntington )

Those of you on Long Island with 03/04-08/04 production dates, which dealer did you bring your cars to to do the retrofit? cause mine doesnt want to do it for me even though i'm willing to pay (stupid...)

Well, dont' know if this applies, but my car is even earlier than your's. (09/2003 production year.) I went to Hassel BMW to have it retrofitted. See if they can help. Good luck! you'll love this mod.

thanks yea i mean the only difference in your case is that you had to change tcu's... mine has the BT tcu. just my dealer doesnt wanna do it... i'll give them a call thanks!

Given the MY of your car, it should be able to retrofit BT. I'd try a different dealer. I did mine recently and it was a piece of cake. GL

I had a 01/04 production date e60, and also was able to have the bluetooth retrofit. It involved a new TCU - I don't remember what my actual cost was, but it wasn't bad.
