Is it a requirement to have an active BMW assist account in order to install the CPT9000 gsm? My year is almost up and am not sure if I want to renew or not.

Which carrier supports CPT9000 in GSM mode (I thought these were all CDMA or TDMA) ???

[/quote]On bmwwireless.com when I input my zip code it comes back with gsm available in your area and gives a part number. AT&T and cingular for sure.
