I just had the BT function activated in my 05 545 and alas, I have lost the CPT9000 functionality. Is there anyway to keep the installed phone (with cradle and antenna boost) until a BT phone is present in the car? I could have sworn I read about a similar situation recently. Or was I dreaming?
Help appreciated.

You were dreaming. I had to have my BT programming undone for the same reason. I was getting a software upgrade and figured I would ask the tech to activate BT so I could eventually use it -- it was the tech's first E60 BT activation and he didn't realize that it would cause the CPT9000 to break. I was there to pick-up the car and I realized the problem. They kept the car another day and confirmed with BMW that you can't have both BT and the hard-wired phone. It's one or the other...
