Thumbs up

I've currently got on order the "Preparation for Bluetooth Mobile" but BMW Australia just released their April 2005 pricelist which offers another option, "Preparation for Bluetooth Mobile Business", a A$1500 compared to the A$700 non-"Business" option. In the notes to the pricelist, it mentions that "Preparation for Bluetooth Mobile Business" is compatible with BMW ConnectedDrive and nonretrofittable. Can someone tell me what the differences between the 2 options are and whether the cheaper bluetooth option still gives you access to BMW ConnectedDrive?

And also, i put my order in 2 weeks ago but if i did want to get that option upgraded, it wouldn't be too late right (that is, the car's specs wouldn't have been set in stone yet right?). Thanks.

"Preparation for Bluetooth Mobile" is just that, mobile phone operating via bluetooth. The "Business" option MUST be fitted at the factory and incorporates Connecteddrive (BMW Assist + BMW Online). Connecteddrive is offered with a 1yr subsciprtion to the service, but after that it is currently $30 p/m EA (ie total A$60p/m)! I have it in my new 540i but so far they have not properly enabled it so I cannot comment on whether its worthwhile... Came standard in the 540i so I don't care so much.
