I am a newbie so hopefully this topic has not been neaten to death.
Does the y cable in the console have the ability to charge the iPhone? I am using it with my iPhone 3G and am getting a message that it isn't compatible to charge, however links everything else perfectly through the I drive controls.
I have just purchased a 2008 535i with Nav.
