My Ride: 2008 535xi Sport//Monaco Blue//Natural Brown//Anthracite headliner//Premium PKG//Cold WX PKG//Sprt PKG w Style 124 (S), Style 135 (W)//Navigation//HUD//PDC//Logic 7//HD Radio//Rear folding seats//Rear heated seats//Rear side airbags//Rear sunshade//HBA//Lane deviation//iPod adapter.
I recently moved to Wiesbaden Germany and took delivery of my 2008 535xi a few weeks ago. I initially paired my phone with the car and all seemed well. However, The car does not recognize my call lists that are programed into the phone. It will also not pick up my phone when I have a call or if I manually enter the number through idrive.
Is there an issue with using European cell phones with US Spec cars? Or do I need to take it to the dealer?
Any help would be much appreciated.
