can I add Bluetooth yes or no

Is there a definitive way to check if I can add Bluetooth. My car is a '04 Dec build SMG and it came with a Bluetooth passkey card. At delivery, only Assist was avail and Bluetooth was in Europe only. My dealer says the current add on is for '05 cars only but at the same time they say if I find out differently they will persue it for me.

If you have a MY04 December 03 production car, you will need at new TCU, software and coding.

[/quote]Then you probably need a new TCU for your car. And it is very expensive, about 2000 USD.
