With the iPhone's European launch set for later this year, BMW is promoting the fact that they fully support and integrate the phone with their cars...
Here are some videos from BMW Spokesperson Daniel Schmidt on the issue of compatibility and functionality of the iPhone in BMW and MINI models:

More than E60 -- I think at this time, they're announcing that all MINI models, the 6 Series, the 5 Series, the 3 Series, the 1 Series and the X5.

That's Cool! My Iphone works perfect in my 04 530i and it downloads the whole phone book into the Idrive 
I'm so happy since my Samsung Blackjack didn't transfer the phone book.

Does your car have the bluetooth conncetivity or the whole phone kit. I have a 545 04 model, my car has the bmw bluetooth phone kit (handset included) which worries me if it will work or not. never worked with the windows mobile 5 based phones.
