Hi. First of all, I'm just curious how many of us really use bluetooth. Secondly, I'm just curious if anyone has disabled BMW Assist in favor of Bluetooth.

maybe I'm a bit old school in this respect, but frankly, I carry my cell phone for emergencies only and so it rarely gets turned on while driving. Frankly, there's only so much I want to in touch with work etc. I enjoy my private time, particulalry while drving my new car!

I use bluetooth with a headset at present but will try out the visorcom system I mentioned in another post tomorrow.
BT is a great technology but its going to be prohibitively expensive to retrofit to my car.
Only the last month you have been able to spec BT with pronav in UK (too late for me)
so sorry cannot tick a box in your poll (maybey you should have a "non-integrated" option.

Sorry DD, my thought is that that falls into the 'Waiting for BMW to provide a fix' category.
I guess I should have thought through my questions better!

jk: That wouldn't work for Dr. Diesel because the choice says waiting for BMWNA, not waiting for BMW. Besides, he says he's not waiting!. Anyway, interesting poll. We'll see what we find out.

I'm using the BMW phone professional.
This actually uses BT, and it works.
I also have BMW assist and this also works fine.
