Those of you who have already purchased the BTUM, where did you get it? I called Garry at Newport BMW and he said they are on national backorder as did a few other dealers.

I got mine from Garry last week. He then told me there was around 180 units available nationwide -- they must have sold out fast if they're on back order now.

Thanks for the information Lomag. I called him again today and he said they are still on backorder and that he only had two to sell early on. Gee, I wonder who sucked them up

everything is working great for me... btum is awesome... incoming calls show name if in phonebook... if not in phonebook it shows phone number. any outgoing calls just shows ***** 5 astericks... is there a way for outgoing calls to show the number or name?

Gotta say... I really like this thing.
I have now received a few calls and the system worked almost flawlessly. Only thing was that incoming calls rang phone rather than the ring coming over stereo. Cell was on my beltclip, the Sirius radio was muted, and iDrive asked if I wanted to take the call. Sound was good on both ends.
Set-up is a breeze. Place the BTUM module in the CPT9000 cradle, mate the BTUM with your cellphone, enter the passkey number sequence and you're in like Flynn.

Gizmo: It rings on my phone and through the car speakers. Sometimes though I don't think it rings through the car speakers... i could be wrong though.. i really don't pay that much attention as long as it mutes the cars speaker and rings somewhere it's fine with me. you know what it must be ringing from my car speakers otherwise i would really hear the ring. the phone is in my pocket and sometimes it's on vibrate so i know it's ringing.
does your show name or phone number on i-drive on outgoing calls?
