My Ride: 525d Sport Auto (Steptronic), Carbon Black, Aubern Dakota Leather, Media Pack (Bluetooth, ProNav, 6 CD Changer)
Having succesfully paired my Nokia 6310i with Bluetooth I had expected to be able to read my text messages on the display screen. I had read somewhere, here I think, but a search has given me no Joy, that with this particular phone a text message being recieved would (as the Bluetooth handbook says) cause an envelope icon to be displayed at the bottom of the display screen. When I receive one it is audible on my telephone handset but does not even produce the envelope icon on my phone's screen as it would normally do when not paired. Eerie.....
Any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation.........

Actually.... I think the Sony phones work with SMS. Anyone with a Sony confirm?
Sony phones seem to be the MOST compatible with BMW bluetooth.

Hardwired means no Bluetooth.
