which Bluetooth phone with Cingular?
#1
Hi, I was wondering which bluetooth phone works best with the E60?
I have heard that with cingular the Razor is the best...is that true? I am not really a techy and the razor really sounds like too much phone for me but if that is only phone that works I guess I have no choice?
Is anyone using the MPX220?
Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
TIA,
Paul

Try this link. Click on the Bluetooth microsite under the picture. Then select compatible phones. This will tell you which bluetooth phones from each company are BMW certified compatible.

I have Cingular, and have the Motorola V551. Fantastic phone. Of course, it's not as slim as the RAZR, but then again, it doesn't cost nearly as much either. I'm very happy with it. My only gripe is that Bluetooth seems to drain the battery rather quickly.

If you like candybar phones I recommend the SE T637. Positives: Good little phone, light weight, works perfectly with the car. Negatives: poor camera (I don't care at all about it); occassionally the O/S can be a little slow. All in I like quite a bit.

Another happy Moto v551 user here with Cingular. No issues with Bluetooth. Should be in the $100 range depending on promos, etc.

Treo650 works but if the Razor is too "tehcy" then this one won't be a consideration... But it works.

I have the RAZR, although I got it unlocked and now use T-Mobile.
It is not a super-techy phone. Just a good, small, lightweight phone.
It works VERY well with BMW Bluetooth, which is why i got it after having bad experiences with other brands.
