Bluetooth Multiple Connections?
#1
When my wife and I travel in the car (2010 530d SE) together is there a way that the car can distinguish between her phone and my phone for either incoming or outgoing calls? or must I switch the bluetooth connection via i Drive to allow her use her phone via the car communications system.
I have read the manual but there is no information on the ciurcumstance I have.

If anyone knows if a specific phone can be ID'ed as "primary" or "preferred" shout it out!

You can pair upto 4 phones
Its in the manual.
i have two phones and when i enter my car they are both paired to the car, however, you must select a primary phone (ie only one can be used via car audio) this can be done through the idrive by making the phone you want as primary on the top of the list of paired phones (click on the phone name in the list and an option will come saying "move up?" click on it.
this way the first phone in the list is the primary. once that is dissconected, the car will shift to the second one on the list , and so on.
RTFM loool
