bluetooth gps receiver hardwired?
#1
i have a 2004 E60 i would like to hardwire my bluetooth gps receiver into my car.
has anyone done this with their car? i don't know to much about wiring but do i need a capacitor or something to slow down the power? or could i just hardwire the power in directly to the receiver?
most gps receivers can be charged or powered with a computer usb port. so a computer usb port pumps out 5v or 12v?
i think the best way would be to take the shell of the bluetooth receiver and hardwire it into the rearview mirror so it could get satellite signal and be concealed.
can i get power from in there?
any help would be appreciated.
