Allow me to just point out something here....

A bluetooth phone that ONLY works as a speakerphone should technically not be said to "work".

The important functionality of Bluetooth in the BMW is the phonebook download, and voice activation. If you have to use the phone to dial/answer calls... then what's the point?

Get a Bluetooth headset. At least that way you can answer a call without taking the phone out of your pocket.

I have the BB 7100t and I have to update the software on the phone, but I tried it in the car, and it's very temperamental, constantly connecting and disconnecting, so after I update the software I"ll see where that gets me, hopefully something can be figured out so I can get it to work fully in the future.
