Hey Guys,

I recently purchased a new bmw 2004 530i and I am trying to get my Blackberry 7290 to work with it through bluetooth. Can anyone guide me in the right direction on how to configure this on the iDrive?

Any help would be grately appreciated.

My 7290 works fine with my 05 545. However, no address book.

You may have a tougher time with the 2004.

You can follow the instructions found in this website under the Information section. (Telephone Manual) As long as you can figure out how to turn the BT on in your phone...it's a ease to pair it with the car.

I just got mine working after upgrading my software. Each service provider (mine is Cingular) has their own software updates & some are more on the ball than others. Cingular just released a patch a couple days ago so I upgraded my BB OS to 4.0.2.49 and now it works. See this link:
