I know, I know... use the search function... but to be quite honest there is so much scattered info there that it only confuses us amateur bluetooth users now.? Im asking if anyone suggests a particular phone for me (and other amateur e60 BT users) to use in the US.? I would like this phone to have a cradle for the car as well.? I know that limits my choices but im begging you guys for this... please help!

I also am a newbie and was having difficulty with which phone to use....I followed the input on the forum and got a Motorola V551....integrated with the system in the car immediately!

Those of you using SE 630 do you have the field strength meter visible on the screen. I'm using the SE630 but only the BT antenna symbol is visible.

wow, thanks for the replies everyone!

I know this is out there, but can anyone reccommend any of the phones offered here (with SIM card) that BMW offers a cradle for and will sync with idrive without an issue? Any feedback is welcomed and very much appreciated...Thanks everyone!

No cradle but great form factor and works perfectly with the E60. Even better with recent CIP upgrade.

I leave it in my pocket all the time. I have always used small flip phones with a belt clip. This is first phone that is really designed to be in a pocket. You don't know its there even with jeans on.

Ok, i can do without a cradle for the coolness factorof the V3. But before I go ahead and order it, let me ask you guys, what other phone is there with a coolness factor of the v3 or better that has a cradle?

Im sure its been asked many times, half of them by me, but its just so confusing and important that you can never be too certain, so input is key here. Thanks guys!
