The treo 650 is listed as "not compatible" but the phone function works just the other functions don't. Just looking again for only the phone function.

Not sure what the relevance of your point might be. Doesn?t change the non compatibility of the 750 one iota.

Hi
Re my previous post the Palm Treo 750v may not be listed as compatible but it works ok in my 2006 530D. I very occasionally got the cant hear the other party problem which is common to all treos I understand. I have now resolved this with a download that cost me ?14.95 online, see previous post by me for details. Adress book and all other stuff syncs with no problems.

You are posting from the UK and have an entirely different TCU than that which the OP has. What works with his (or doesn't) bears no relevance to what might or does work with yours. Any overlap is entirely coincidental.

Just to clarify on the compatibility issue.

This is not a black-and-white thing, if the mobile device doesn't work, the likelihood is an incompatibility.

Each mobile operator's version of a device is a little different so that further confuses the issue.

The only way to figure out what is at fault is to 1.) test your non-working device in another car (this is not the acid test) and 2.) to test a phone KNOWN to be working in your car.
