hi to everyone!
i'm looking to buy 2004 BMW 525I/530I/545I without navigation
can anyone tell me if there is Bluetooth handsfree option if the car comes with premium pkg no navigation
do i need to buy other modules like BMW TCU Bluetooth Module with GPS?
i really need the handsfree feature but my friend told that this feature comes only with navigation but it's out of my budget to buy 5 e60 with navi
so do you have handsfree system in your car?

My Ride: 530I Silver gray with gray leather with Premium Package, Logic 7 Premium sound system with Ipod interface, xenon adaptive headlights, Active steering, Power retractable rear sunshade, Comfort seats, Cold weather package and M5 OEM 166 wheels, Sprintbooster. Ceramic Tint all around, Bilstein Sports shocks with Eibach springs, Brake performance Rotors and Axxis ceramic pads.
I have an 05 530I with no navigation system, I do have bluetooth. It is not a standard equipment. You can check your Idrive and see if you have a bluetooth option.

no 2004 will have bluetooth. they would be prewired, but no bluetooth. 2005 and newer have it as an option. the 6 cylinder cars include it in the premium package, it's standard on the 545/550. Either way you don't need navigation to have it.

2004 models, starting with April 2004 production, usually have the bluetooth hardware installed. Most of the time it is not activated. There is a BMW TSB that references how to have it enabled.

which usually entails several hours of coding work, $300+. at this point it's better to find a 9/2004 or later build car.

Any shop with an AutoLogic can do it for $60. Also, you probably could with NCSExpert. I am working on setting up my Dension Bluetooth now with it. I am an unlucky January 2004 production.
