According to the exclusive deal with at&t, iPhone won't go anywhere until 2012. That's when the deal expires. & who knows if apple would extend it any further.

If they extend it they are stupid. I would actually consider one IF I didn't have to use AT&T - they suck and always will.

Just get the phone you like (this example the iPHone), get a 4G Hotspot (EVO 4G, MIFI, or Overdrive) and share that 4G to your devices (this case the iPhone) - and you are good to go. That's what I'm going to do.

The lowest 3G rate on AT&T is now $15/month. i'm just gonna go with that.

PS: I don't know why people are so attached to a certain Carrier. I love them all. Each one has great products/services to offer - get the best product/service you want to use.
