My Ride: 523i 2.5. no sat nav or bluetooth
After market stereo
i have a 5 series 523i 2.5 2005 e61. And told 644 ?
it has no Bluetooth which I want so I can connect my iphone to play music wirelessly.
have been told expressive to get models and to have have the car reprogrammed.
can anyone advise me if an after market stereo can be fitted and recommend a suitable one and best way to do it like how to connect into the system or independently
if not any alternative
thanks

You don't want to mess with trying to install an aftermarket radio in a BMW, believe me Geoff. For what you want, this is a much better solution.

Do you have a CD player? The board can tap off the output from that. Otherwise, it would have to be off of the radio, which means dismantling it from the dash, but it can be done.

I got a Jabra freeway hands free kit. Allows me to stream music and calls through the radio speakers as it has a fm transmitter built in.
