Exclamation 2004 E60 525i Bluetooth Enabled with NCSexpert

Hello,

I have a 2004 E60 525i which did not have bluetooth enabled on it.
I used NCSexpert to code the TCU and MASK mocules. I succeeded and got the bluetooth enabled in my car.

I paired my Iphone 4 but can only make calls from the phone. I cannot access the phonebook to make a call from the idrive, not even the received calls, dialed calls, missed calls.

I can only dial from my phone and then when the call has ended I can access the phonebook, the received calls, the dialed calls, etc...

Before making a call, if I go to Communication Menu, I press on the PHONE tab I will get the following message:

"For Further Information, please contact your BMW center"

I will not get this meny: < DIAL A-Z Top 8 Redial Missed Calls .... >

Any ideas how to fix this ?

Thanks,

Shad

I made all of those changes and it has worked for me. However, I have not been able to get the text messaging to work. Not sure if it's because I'm using hangouts app for messaging on android or if I need to receive them while driving or what the issue is but, frankly, I don't care. I don't really see myself using this function much.

Another thing that I've noticed that has helped is to turn on the bluetooth on my phone BEFORE starting the car. If I switch it on after I've put the key in the ignition the address book doesn't show up. Not sure it matters for you but it helps for mine (I also have a 2004 525).
