Lets see what interesting uses/things you guys have come up with, using vinyl.
I've seen some use it to wrap interior/exterior trim pieces, and I always thought that was interesting. I did the roofs for my friend's cars: http://vorsteiner.com/bmw/3Series/E36/1.jpg http://vorsteiner.com/bmw/3Series/E36/2.jpg http://boostjunky.com/gallery/albums...7688.sized.jpg And did the graphics for my track/show widebody: http://www.wannaberacer.com/9128373/2.jpg http://www.wannaberacer.com/9128373/3.jpg http://www.wannaberacer.com/9128373/4.jpg Post up! -Don |
Used some of the extra matte black vinyl I had laying around and had the hood and roof of his Porsche covered:

Wow! That requires some skills, doesn't it? :wow:

jk! I am sure the hundreds of people who have seen my car probably think or ask the same question. |
I think it is interesting as well. I am curious where you find your patience to work with this stuff? I <tried> putting a vinyl wrap on my chrome trim. Seemed like a great looking mod and was 20 bucks....what do I have to lose?
MY FREAKIN MIND is what I lost...OMG...this stuff is soooooooo freakin hard to work with. I mean nearly impossible. I did finish it. But I didn't do a very good job. Bubbles here, wrinkles there. I will keep it on for a while...but only until I get the cash to buy the shadowline trim. UGH!!!!! So pissed! Only because I thought for once I could get something at a cheap price....it looked great on the gallery cars  Anyway, you have my respect....that stuff is THE WORST. :nono: |

I'll post up more pictures of other cars with my vinyl on their roofs. The Porsche you see there, the owner put it on himself :)
