Hi,
I am new to this sight & looking for guidance I recently purchased a new set left over Sevas R55 8.5 x 20 & 10 x 20 offset 25 front & rear. I know they r no longer in buisness & read the stories about the cast wheels breaking. I dont know too much about offset's & what they should be just wandering what that offset will look like on the car..will they be pushed out to the fender or the opposite. my car is 2004 530i with h&r sport springs They also recommend 245/35/20 front & 275/30/20 rear tires how will this combo look ... oh yea wheels are made for e60...Any help would be appreciated thanks

Definitely wrong forum...
I recall the Sevas "issues" only effecting the cast wheels. The set you purchased are forged and bad ass. I believe I saw the same set on ebay and considered buying them before I decided on OEM 101s. Be carefull with two things: 1) I tried the 245/35/20s on my fronts and they rubbed even with a fender roll on OEM sport suspension. My front are 20x9 et24. Some members run this tire size with no issues and some rub. The offest, wheel width and tire choice (some tires have sidewalls that are more square than others) will all influence this. I would be concerned since you are running H&R springs which are lower than OEM sport.
The other thing to consider is the look of the tire on a wheel. The 245 up front is perfect for an 8.5" wide wheel. The 20x10 in the rear will make a 275 appear slightly stretched. It will not provide any wheel protection and you will be able to see the wheels standing directly behind the car. While some people like the stretched look, I hate it. I would go with a 285.
If you want to keep the same rolling circumfrance as stock, the correct sizes are 245/30 and 285/25.
