V1 and V2 scoop are not different in their functional design. The mounting of the V2 for the 550i is the only difference.

I thought the only reason why RPI is making a V2 is because of the bad fitment mounting and that goes for all 550s, 545s including 530s and as far as I know some of us had to custom fit tapes/metal/home depot supplies just to close the opening gaps that were losing air, if your not making a V2 for 530s then can you make a V3 for us? The fitment is slightly off

All orders were put on hold until it was confirmed that V1 for the 545i made horsepower. We would still like to have a 6speed or SMG 530i in for accurate dyno numbers. NeRwEEzy's Steptronic 530i dyno graph, if I recall, did not show any gains. Now, would you like for us to sell you a product that hasn't been verified to produce power?
The 550i is the only model thus far that is having problems with mounting. Navin's 545i produced power with the original mounting. We are still in need of a 6speed or SMG 530i in for some dyno runs and based on the runs will have an idea whether V2 is necessary for the 530i.

How is the fitment slightly off? Do you have pics?
The fitment is off because the lines don't matchup so there are gaps in between

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the 545s intake vent/hole the same as 530s? The lines are same no? Well either way I have gaps in between
This was the first time reading this thread...From what I understand is that the scoop which I purchased for my 07 530xi and recieved does abosolutely nothing in HP gains???
Rather a piece or frabicated metal attatched to my car?

NeRwEEzy's STEPTRONIC 530i was one sample. This particular sample did not result in any gains on the dyno due to the automatic kickdown and upshift of the STEPTRONIC, thereby giving us inconclusive results. This is why we need a 6speed or SMG 530i in for more sampling to gain a precise reading on the dyno. The 6speed and SMG do not kick down nor upshift at WOT. As for the design of the scoop, its proven to produce power. There are multiple dyno graphs with the M5s, ICEMAN316's 550i, and Navin's 545i as evidence. The same scoop will make power for the 530i, it just needs to be verified.
