So this is just a bolt on muffler system? If we choose different tips for the right side, will they match on the muffler? Or will it need be cut and welded on? Also, does this kit fit flush to the edges of an M5 bumper? Or will modding at a muffler shop be required?

bolt on but you need to cut off old muffler, tips are all interchangable and are slip on, no welding, you will need to cut out for the other tips on passenger side.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Remus is charging almost $500 more for the dual, which basically is the signal with a pipe to the other side. Doesn't make since.

Remus website states the main sil. L/R system is 690.00, plus cost for what ever tips you choose to get.

Eisenmann charges almost $900 more for their twin setup (over single). It's basically the same as the Remus--another pipe that leads to a dummy muffler (plate) and tips.
