Thanks a lot for bashing my new rims.

I received them last friday and they look GREAT (Thanks Tony). I like them much better than the 166's now becasuse they match the lines of the E60 much better and look more modern. The 172's spokes have straight and diagonal lines which match the straight and diagonal lines on the E60 much better than the curvy spokes on the 166's. They also look like they have a bigger diameter than most other 19" wheels because they have flush, thin and long spokes that go all the way to the very edge of the lip. I guess it creates an optical illusion of having a bigger diameter.

Eric, remember me telling you during the January meet that I was leaning towards getting the 172's because I liked them and the 166's were becoming way too common? Well looks like my plan for having less common or unique rims is not going to work out because the US 550i M Sports will also have the same rims.

I bet very very few people in the US have seen the 172's in person as they just started arriving on the LCI 550 M Sports. I think seeing it in person makes a huge difference. When I ordered the wheels from Tony I had only seen them in pictures, and seeing them in person on my car exceeded my expectations.

Thanks again Tony......and I will be taking pics and posting them on a thread soon.

the M172 wheels in person are much more nicer than shown in the pictures.
you should also see them when they are rolling!

Rody post some pictures!

and what do you think about that?? of course I can take care of it showing as USED or GIFT on the invoice
buyer has to give me the permission though.

its all about time, there is a Group buy going on by another member he looks like he can get them right away
and his prices look very reasonable

because if you guys wait for US release it might take couple weeks or months NOBODY is sure yet to be honest.

ps: I will get this tread removed today since the parts are not released in USA yet.
I can't find the group buy
