Hey Tony - few questions for you (and any others who would like to provide input):
Is that $2,140 price for a limited time? - from reading other posts, it seems the "normal" pricing, at least for E60.net members has been about $1,400 shipped, plus the painting. So, seems like a great deal.
Any significant difference between ordering them pre-painted and having them painted at a body shop (blending?) - my 530xi is only a few months old, so there shouldn't be any issue with fading in my case.
Does the M-tech kit significantly decrease the ground clearance of the car? Basically, do you have to be more careful with pulling up toward curbs, parking blocks, etc.?
I have the stock 530xi wheels right now, and probably wouldn't upgrade those quite yet - any opinions on how the M-tech kit looks with those stock wheels (can't remember the style #)?
How would I get a front license plate holder attached to the new bumper?
Finally, is this really a DIY job? I'm no mechanic and have never done anything like this to my car, but I can definitely follow instructions and take my time.
Pending the answers to these questions, I would be interested in a full kit, painted in Silver-Grey, shipped to 80016. I assume that $2,140 price applies, or it any different?
Thanks a lot!

wow excellent questions I like it!
here are your answers clearly sir:
1-I tried to keep the prices as much as I can lowered. the price is good for a long time for our members here.and yes its a great deal
saves you lot of time not only that you get to keep your car in your garage not in the dusty dirty body shops and everybody's touching driving etc...
2-Not really the body shop will do the SAME THING which I will do here. look under your hood see the paint code and prepare to spray it.
the only painful part is with me here I have to drop the kit wait for it wrap them individually and take them back to be shipped..
well, its a service and I am happy doing all that!
3-and yes your car should be taken care of nicely remember these parts would be looking brand new with clear coating
4-ground clearance is not a really issue here unless you drive it on mexican border over the hills..
but to answer your question M tech kit is a sport aerodynamically designed for air flow it will lower the front around less than a inch maybe little more than 3/4"
sides and rear height should be same maybe couple mm's lower.
5-I attached 2 pictures at your request one with stock bumper and 18" wheels one with M tech kit with 18" wheels
you can clearly see the body difference and other differenties in design.
6-the kit comes with License plate holder within the kit its easy to install with the hardware comes with it.
7-well this is a really a DIY project but once again you might need to get some help while installing
from your friends or family members even neighbours..they will help you to carry the parts and hold them in balance
to prevent them getting scratched while installing. Since theres a factory installation instuction info, its not of a big deal
to install the kit properly it would take between 3-4 hours.
8-yes to your zip and location $2140 with shipping applies..
please let me know if you like to order it I can ship it next week.
best regards, (and thank you for the questions)
Tony
