Got bored last night and ripper apart my front bumper to get to my headlamps. I replaced the corner orange lamps with some white LED bulbs to match out my AIB's.
Last pic was just my interior lights, I changed all the bulbs to white bulbs from bimmian. Ordered bulbs for my front and rear signals to white which will be in soon to get rid of the damn orange colour in them. The side blinkers are now white LED (same as the ones in my headlamp corners), rear plate are same bulbs as interior (to not throw error code, white ).
While I had my head lamps in my hand I looked into seeing if I could take them apart and maybe paint my orange markers back like the euro models but it looks like they are sealed together tight, couldn't get anything apart.
Next mods are roof and trunk spoilers, and I got my spacers in the mail for the rears. Going to put them on maybe when the weather gets better and I put insurance back on the 7

I dont really have a DIY, I have the TIS program for taking crap apart and look at that for the most part.
Trickiest parts are removing the PDC sensor stripping and then removing the actually bumper from the connections up near the sides by the front tires. Since there are clips in there you have to push in a flat head then kinda push in the clips and pull the bumper up and out. Tricky doing it myself but Ive done it a few times now so I got it down to an art.
As for the overlay, I still think you would see the orange behind it looking straight on, thats why I would rather try and get it done right inside the lens if every possible. But again I would have to see this overlay you are speaking off.
So me and you are down for the trunk spoiler, you know anyone over at the other forums that maybe wants in on this? more people the cheaper we can maybe get it.........

why dont u email them and see what price they can do if we do 2... also do u really need to take out the pdc?? I thought the bumper could just be lowered not taken off completely.??

You have to take out PDC because the wiring to the sensors are like 3 inches from main line and tied down to the main mount, so if you don't take off the wiring to PDC you risk ripping them right off when taking off compete bumper.
Ya get me?
