Granted, I have to give it back a week later but I am going to enjoy Southern California for a week in a Hydrogen 7er.

From all I have read, liquid hydrogen seems to be a very earth-friendly way of powering the automobile. I will advise further after Thursday.

Wow, how did you manage to get hold of one of those? In the UK BMW loan them to VIP's, I read that the mayor of London has the use of one. Very cool, let us know what you think of it!

Absolutely wrong!

That's the marketing!

The truth is, it takes an extreme amount of energy to produce H.

And then there is the big perversion... Why do they make a car which is sooooooooooo friendly to the environment, and only bring a 12 cylinder version out?

This is all BS.

The worst is, try to find a gas station... Good luck...

I've seen both sides - and I'm on the fence. I'm also hearing that they hope to reduce the amount of energy it takes to produce liquid hydrogen. We shall see.

Regading the type of car - the hydrogen fuel system required a lot of space.

There's no infrastructure in the U.S. to pump liquid hydrogen yet so it's a moot point.

To be honest, I really do hope so.
But I think that's all just wishfull thinking/dreaming.

If they would have made this car REALLY for the environment, it would have been a smaller engine, not the 12 cylinder.
They do this, because they get big Bucks from the government for it.
