Wasn't it just last year that the 7-series got a face lift? Now, it's going to get another one by this fall or early next year?

The new 7er will arrive sometime in 2008 as a model year 2009. The current 7 series is getting its ass kicked by sales of the new MB S Class and the new Lexus, and I'm not sure this new effort is enough to change that game.
But it will be interesting to see what goodies will get added to the new 7, because many of those things trickle down into the 5 series.
One cool change soon ... BMW is looking at putting the 4L V8 turbodiesel into the current 7 series for the final model year (2008). Makes you wonder if they are thinking about that for the E60 too?

I read last year that the new 7-series will be much more "sportier" than the current one, and that the gear level will be back between the front seats.

Front end looks good to my eyes, but the most controversy about the e65 exterior was from the other end...wonder what that will look like for the 7-series successor.

The next 7 series need to make a statement not a copy of the 6er front and 3 er sides. Gee, hope the the rear doesn't look like a VW Passat.

Does Bangle still work for BMW? Probably not.
