It was confirmed by AutoBild.
Materials are still tempory, but the actual design has been finalized.

My Ride: 2008 535i, 6spd mtx, Monaco Blue w/Beige interior. Sport, Preimum, Logic 7/HD/I-Pod/USB, Nav sys, rear sunshade, HUD, PDC, Split seats,
Not liking that rendering at all..looks to be a step down (in looks anyway) from the current 7 series...looks like someone chopped the nose of a 5 series onto the current 7 series (sort of)...very ungainly looking.

See that attached photos. These are photos that were on the internet back in early March '08. The car in the photos was supposedly the new 7 series in Australia for a photo shoot.
