Here are some recent pics of the Schnitzer 7's prettier sister, on my first serious attempt with the DSLR. .

Anyone have any tips on how to take better pics, without photoshop? .

Hi Sam,

What kind of dSLR do you have? To get the best results, you should use an upgraded lens (not the standard kit lens).
Also, try to experiment with the manual focus and the white balance. Just make as many photo's as you like, and then sort them out on the computer.

Just one extra tip: I found that the best photo's are made just before the sun goes under/up

Nikon D60. Its my very first SLR. How do you mess with the white balance?

That's a nice dSLR for a newby (FYI, I'm also sort of a newby)! Start with experimenting with the manual focus. It's the easiest way to practice. Also, when you're making photo's, make a dozen per angle. Back home on the computer, you will notice the different outcome!

After a while, start looking for a better lens. I've got an 'old' Canon D350 with a Sigma lens. The Sigma lens is particulary better when it's darker.
Also: snap you're photo's at sunset/sundown.

Here's a photo of my previous Touring at sundown

Looking forward to your new mods on the 7er Sam. Gotta drop by your shop one of these days to check it out; maybe the next time I'm on my way to or from Sonic since it's close by. haha

Hey, come out to our Boiling Crab dinner next Thu: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=69414
